Tartan Hankies

These are better than many handkerchiefs, but the material is disappointingly thin and the stitching poor - signs of a poor seamstress working piece-rates which are underpaid.
They do however wash well and keep their shape.
Hankies are not a fashion accessory - they need to be functional. I'm now in my sixth year of long Covid, and one symptom is that I produce masses of phlegm, but it seems impossible nowadays to find a decent, durable handkerchief!
