Our Y back British braces (also sometimes referred to as 3-Clip braces!) are the most traditional style of braces, featuring two straps to the both sides of the front and one to the rear. Each pair of Y back mens suspenders have shoulder straps that combine at the back at either a metal triangle or a leather patch. This then turns into a single strap complete with three metal clips or leather ends to attach the trouser braces securely to the trousers at the rear.

Particularly suited to formal and business wear and traditional evening wear, all of our Y back braces for men are designed with a distinctly comfortable fit, allowing for the trouser to drape correctly over the shoe, and feature nifty slide adjusters allowing the wearer to raise or lower the trousers, enabling them to be adjusted to the perfect fit.
