Buttons for Braces

If your preference for braces is the traditional runner end or button on brace Y style, you will need to consider how you will fasten these to the waistband of your trousers.

Before clips were invented buttons were the main way of fastening a pair of braces or suspenders to the trouser waistband.

Remember you will need 6 buttons for the Y style, 2 buttons at the back and 4 at the front.
